Headphones work great, comfortable, good sound quality, but wish the phone leads just came out of one side, another drawback, depending on whether you’re are right on top of your PC or not, the overall cord length is too short, only 40″ long. There are better choices out there. I have similarly priced headphones that have a 98″ cord, and it comes out of only one side of the phones. I would recommend shopping around if this cord length may be an issue for you. Extension leads may be purchased, but cost almost as much as the headphones themselves! Luckily I had an old extension lead. Sorry SONY. A die hard SONY fan nevertheless.

Headphones work great, comfortable, good sound quality, but wish the phone leads just came out of one side, another drawback, depending on whether you’re are right on top of your PC or not, the overall cord length is too short, only 40″ long. There are better choices out there. I have similarly priced headphones that have a 98″ cord, and it comes out of only one side of the phones. I would recommend shopping around if this cord length may be an issue for you. Extension leads may be purchased, but cost almost as much as the headphones themselves! Luckily I had an old extension lead. Sorry SONY. A die hard SONY fan nevertheless.

I agree, Debbie, I don’t know what it is about being a single woman in a sea of couples that gets married ladies on their guard especially if I’ve known their husbands before they got married…if I didn’t want them when they were single, why would I want them now that they’re married?! Certainly a good point – The Hunger Games being a clear recent example.I’m OK with much of the 40s/50s stuff aimed at young adults – Heinlein, Poul Anderson, and Andre Norton wrote great juveniles. What I find most juvenile about van Vogt’s books is the attitude – the books are always centered around a narcissistic super-science genius who always knows more than anyone else, who is nearly always right, and whose biggest problem is usually that nobody listens to him. Classic adolescent fantasy.
