What Asians Like: Staring at Other Asians.
Oh, harro!Asians are like a female sizing
herself up when she passes a fellow classmate in the hallway. Asians
can't seem to take their eyes off of each other, particularly when
they're of the same sex. A subtle art perfected over their adolescents,
they pretend not to acknowledge each other's existence--but deep down
inside is a burning coals of pride and self-esteem issues.
Oldie but goodie.Am I guilty? I could care less about other Asians. But if you're going to stare at me, make it less obvious.
Don't:
-Whip
out your cellphone as soon as you see me, pretending you're
dialing/texting someone. I know you see me. I also know you have nobody
to call at 3am in the morning.-Blatantly stare at the wall/sidewalk/sky. You look like you're lost. Or have down syndrome.
-Stare
straight down the walkway like I'm not aware of peripheral vision. It's
actually freaky if you observe their faces during this laughable action.-Look at your watch all of a sudden. You're more likely than not have nowhere to rush to. Stop fooling yourself.
Here, I have an easy solution to this.
RayBan? Ray Charles? Coincidence? I THINK NOT!Stare
as much as you want with no shame (okay, just a little). But don't wear
these at night/indoors like an idiot and not expect me to punch you in
the throat.Asians: too much pride.

O_O
LOL
I think it may also be that they're trying to figure out what kind of Asian you are, too.
REALLY, why do you post on your own entry?
i like to make girls self conscious, by staring at their bf's, then staring straight at them. almost like i'm judging them, making them feel like they aren't qualified enough to be with that guy. it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
shit that first picture scared me
Holy crap, that pic is creepy. Asians stare at Asians because they share a similar look like and stand out in public
Asians don't stare at my face, though. My boobs are my second pair of eyes.
@_@
that first picture is creeepy.
I don't stare at other asians, unless the have very cool hair.
I do try to figure out their ethnicity
old asians like to stare at EVERYONE too.
at least when you catch an asian staring, they look away. mexicans and i always have a staring contest ... and they always win.
staring contest!
asian ppl like staring at each other's boobs.
where are we? CHINA?
Ah chris, not staring at watch or using cellphone? Come on man, you can't deny them both!
just look back...they will look away...
The only proper response to such rapage is a creepy smile.
stop depriving me of my right to stare at other asians!!!
Someone should at least smile
haha omg i wanted to write an entry on this. asian girls always freaking glare at other asian girls. makes me wanna smack em in the face, even though i do the same thing =)
haha i used that disaprine pic in one of my entries too.
haha sunglasses ftw. in all instances except inside.
I like it when people stare. It's like they've never seen a pretty girl before.
where I grew up it was mostly Asians and I was the one that stood out so they stared at me.
Too much pride, yea that about sums it up... but if we know this and dont change does that make us more prideful or just sticking to our culture?
*Note - despite my 1/2 and 1/2 makeup, I identify with my Asian side, since I was raised by that side.
They don't stare as much at us Black Males. They usually take a quick glance and f you catch them looking, they turn abruptly. Makes me want to punch them, but I think that's what they're thinking anyway.
It's that or Rob them.
Becasue I totally want some Hollister Flip Flops and a studded belt.
There's no "Do" to counter your "Don't".
What am I supposed to do, then?! Where do I put my EYES?
Staring's fun, but unduly awkward. Especially when it really is just you two ...on a lonely walkway, heading in different directions, several hundred meters from the next gaggle of people.
The other person exponentialises the awkwardness when they smile.
I was staring at that bulge in your pants while you were staring at ME
snap
o.,O
i'm guilty of the cellphone excuse... altho most of the time, either it's true that someone still texts me at 3 am or i check the time.
I always do the "1000 yard stare" past the person and down the hall and then regret not checking her out. damn pride.
@Amuse_Bouche - i don't think caka has a bulge babe. more like a bump.... heehee
Lol. Doraemon!
o hai!
stare back~~~ that`s what i usually do
AHAHAHA. Asian girls looking at other Asian girls is probably the worst. Asian girls are idiots. They make themselves look like more of an idiot especially when the girl they were staring at is introduced to them especially by a guy and cannot give a proper hand-shake and say a simple, "nice to meet you, i'm _______." They just smirk and give a weak-ass "hi."
If the girl is cute, I usually just say it out loud to their face so I won't look like a bitch looking at them when in actuality, I'm checking them out!!! Damn, nice ass!!!
*stare stare stare glare*
i think it's rude to stare.
i get so uncomfortable when people stare. i was at the train station and this guy was staring at me and i could tell from my peripheral view. he ends up sitting nex tto me on the train and dude's head is like cocked to the side just to stare at me.. jeez, can you make it any more obvious that you're staring...!?
ummm... so you do smile? do you just stare back? and where's the rest of the cali pics and video!
RayBan?
Thash not a disaprine!
I wrote a post on this a while back.
It's just so damn annoying
it's sadly true. unless you're in asia, then no one gives a damn.
eh it's the same here. malay girls like to stare down other malay girls, and especially if they are with their boyfriends. as if we want to steal their useless good for nothing malay guys. urgh. rude much?
oh, if some fool wear shades in a club, we'll walk past them and go, "ouch, the sun the sun!"
asians are just.. cool.
especially the eurasians.
me love you long time??
hahaha i don't mind the staring as much as the pointing
magibon wannabe ~ cause you know, all she does is stare ~
she's not even asian!
as long as it's not creepy
HAHAHA that picture of the boy totally made my day. XDDD ..I don't stare at other Asians..O_o
mmm. chubby boys. delicious.
It must be a spelling bee..I wonder who is winning..
And you shouldn't be talking about staring..let me refresh ur memory: You staring a.k.a. looking for lost keys insomeone else's blouse...hmmm..
I can't stop looking at you Chris.
damn u azn pryde
lol~~~ i do have a problem with starin at ppl..esp asians...esp hot asns..HAHAHAHAHA
but im a natural stalker- i do it with care and subtlety MuAahhahaHAHahah bet you wont catch me!!!
I like that second picture!
the asians at my school have seemingly mastered the "look away to break eye contact" when really we catch their asses slipping all the time.
Hey! It's now or never.
Hot girl walks by..this is your only get one chance, take it or lose it.
up here we stare because there's a <1% asian population.. we're just so suprised to see someone else with squinty eyes and black hair har har
you are very cute!
geez stop complaining, just see it as eye exercise. the muscle behind the eyes need exercise anywayz...
hehe peace.
I think most people I've encountered throughout my life have got a staring problem, and most of the time it's never the "Yeah, you know I'm hot." feeling when they're staring at me. It's usually the "What the fuck you staring at?" feeling.
I have to walk to work in LA. Everyone there stares at everyone else. I hate it. I just want to gouge their eyes out with a pen. To make matters worse, the snobs I encounter (always a different group visiting CBS) form lines when walking on sidewalks and they'll deliberately bump right into you if you don't move out of the way. So I bump into them coz I hate them and I refuse to move. GRR!!! Seriously, why can't they simply move one step to their right so that oncoming pedestrians can pass without having to step out onto the street or the grass to pass them? I want to stab them!
As for Asians staring at other Asians, the only time I have had that problem was with older folks and pre-college, when kids thought it was bad-ass to stare down their peers. Both irritate me, but at least the glaring parents/grandparents aren't glaring at me coz they think they're tough shit. Most likely they're just reminiscing on what it's like to be young again or whatever else is harmless.
But who wants to look at you?
I joke, you bring all the boys to the yard.
how come nobody stared at ME?!
its not my fault okay.. I'm ASIAN and I'm curious.. :}
Lmfao. I was with my friend, Madina, in Memphis once and every Asian we walked past she would stare at them and they would stare at her. I noticed it but didn't want to say anything. Strange though that you just confirmed my theory.
-CrazyKey123
doraemon!
Haha this is so true
Although there is another important part to this entry you forgot to mention: the white friends love to laugh at the asian friends getting surreptitiously stared at by other asians! it's a hilarious cycle of staring...
as a halfer, i prefer staring those mildmannered and/or wanna be asian gangsters in the eyes with a sneer on my face
its entertaining, they either glaze their eyes over and stare back, or look away and look back eveyr 3 seconds to check if you're still looking, then pretend they didn't notice
If I stare, I just keep looking, put a smile on my face, and wave hello.
They stare ... because they KNOW I'm hot and they wish they were as cool as me.
But they're not.
Sucks be to them.
Booo.
O_o
i used to do that when i first came to sydney, but now i don't any more. that city is literally filled with Asians!
people dont even know that i'm half asian, yet im born and raised.
-_-
Stare o . o
lol the first picture is creepy hahah
Whatever, when people stare at me I ignore them, haters all of them just jealous of me. All you haters envy me, I'm food's MVP =P anyways, sometimes I whip out my bb to start texting other people... about the person who's staring at me... or to take a ninja pic of them to send to all my friends 'why is this bitch staring at me' HAHAHAHAHAH
Actually I've perfected the art of ignoring them; I forget who it was but I was walking with some friends and one of them grabbed my arm and said "Yo that girl just STARED at you like you just stole her boyfriend"... so weird. I think it was Joon actually.
hahaha funny...i love the flash work...lol
this is definitely true. big difference in walking into an asian restaurant and walking into an american one is the staring!
I hate those awkward moments when you pass by someone you were just having a staring contest with. I don't know where to put my eyes, so I just stare at my watch as I quickly walk by.
Someone told me that I have a staring problem. When I eat I kind of zone out and randomly stare out.
I don't really know. Eating is meditation for me.
dunno about the staring. what it is here in this city is that perhaps some circle of life can be broken into when auditory stimuli are found to be more attractive, than the actual vision.
or maybe it's because asians are hot?
They stare at me all the time, but it's probably because they feel the heat of my asian fever radiating from my body, and are preparing to scamper away for their lives. (IT'S GOJIRAAA!! RUNN FO YO LIFE-U!!!) I'm not even joking.
*wins medal for innapropriate comment of the day*
haha I'm not asian but I do check out asian girls' hair sometimes. I always get jealous of their haircolors and styles that I can't pull off!
... or it could just be a general social process which everyone does with peoples of all ethnicities so as to avoid awkward moments while passing each other on the street.
I will admit if I was walking in Birmingham, Alabama and I saw an Asian fellow, I'd look his/her way.
Hehe... black people do the same thing. But at least we smile or talk to each other while we do it
at my old job - this old asian dude kept staring at me and wouldn't stop.... he then walked away from my doorway and a moment later popped up RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, pretending to look at merchandise, but was staring directly at me.
luckily my boss was like "Can I help you???!"
He was startled and made a funny "uh!!" sound and ran away.
idk - if she wasn't there i would've thrown something at his face.
The first pic reminds me of Magibon
hahahaha so true! i always get the evil asian stare of doom, but if you stare back at them they dart their eyes in shame @ fartspeed. so i reciprocate the awkward moment
Hahahah~ =D
Yeah, I do that alot.
oh i don't just look at asians but I point as well. oh wait..i'm the "other" sort of asian. damn.
Uhh..i'm naturally awkward so i tend to do all of the following that include staring at the ground, sky, wall, feet..anything but the person's eyes.
It's FUN, you should try it.
