Why parents and teachers lie.
So your kid got an A on his spelling bee? Awesome! So what do you do? Draw a smiling sunshine with sunglasses on it? WRONG!So your students in 2nd grade are in art class and you commend them for drawing such a "cute little sunshine face" smiling with sunglasses on it? WRONG!
WHAT'S THE SUN SHADING HIMSELF FROM? You're lying to your kids. Don't you realize that? Why do you reinforce that idea?
