  • Africa Loves Me.
    Or maybe not.

Background: I put an iPhone up for sale on Facebook's Marketplace (think Craigslist on Facebook). I receive 15 replies within 24 hours. Most are obvious scams. Here are a few examples.

Hmm...a lot of relatives seem to live in Africa apparently. God bless me? Now I DEFINITELY need to send this out asap!

I love how they use the pastor as if this would make me extra generous. Maybe I'll send it to you gift-wrapped for free! Sacrilegious much?
Then, you have those who don't even bother trying to put in any effort...

Wow! Finally, an email not requesting me to ship to Africa. This has to be legit.

I want to legally change my name to...MAX POWERS! I got it off the front of my vacuum machine.

I love the internet. You guys make me laugh.
