China: Part 3.
Hangzhou and ruining a couple's romantic evening.The next stop on our tour placed us in Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a very large version of Central Park (and a large Jewish population to boot), with the West Lake being one of the main attractions. The lake is surrounded with history (and probably lots of urine) and great foliage. The water level itself is quite shallow, as Yao Ming is able to walk across the stretch of this lake.

I call this the Boob Building, located in the shopping district.

The two hour drive to Hangzhou. Nap-nap time.
One thing that stuck out was the residential architecture. Along the highway, there were homes with an almost cookie-cutter design for miles. I was very curious as to what those glass tops were for. Apparently, they're built to be a shrine to honor your ancestors.

Almost 90% of the houses I spotted had solar panels on their roofs. It's said to provide just enough electricity to power your home for the morning shower.
We arrive in Hangzhou. Many ride bikes on this path, many bikers also enjoy running over your feet.

THEN, BAM! Everyone surrounds the couple. I think my tour group cockblocked the guy. I couldn't stop laughing at this happening so quickly.

In China, there are no stop signs. It's a free-for-all when trying to cross intersections. You practically have to walk into traffic and hope the car/scooter/biker slows down enough to not run you over. I actually witnessed three scooter riders crash into cars and people during my trip.
The locals lend a hand to a broken down tour bus.
The day ends and so does this bus driver who decided to fall asleep in the middle of driving.
