I enjoy so much of what you do that I appreciate the sentiment that mass mailings can be a little annoying, and I apologize when I make them, because I would like to write all 130 or however many Xanga folks who have kindly come over to visit my site, but I cannot, so sometimes in the late night, I just write something which I want to tell everyone, and it feels important to me. It is not hallow in content, but it is what is or has happened that I think another person might can see with different eyes or show me a way that I have not thought of. I depend on some of these occasions, for they are a way of not having to agree - but to be told from some smart people, "Well this is how I see things. I have used some of the advice.

On the same level, if I can send out something to another person, for maybe they are asking for help or what others think, then I hope to give input. It appears to me that the better way of handling mass mailings would be for those who do not want them to opt out. Maybe I am just lucky, but I really am not overwhelmed with them.

You get interesting views out, and I have thought that you are humorous, very organized in a theatrical kind of way, so when I see your notes, I read some if not all. Would I dare ask every Xangan to please read, if nothing else, the Amazon notes about the work of my life, "Pinkhoneysuckle," the book, Of course I desire readers, and it is the only way I have to write a large group. I'm a Mom, a grandmother, and to many -- a friend, so I cannot say that I disapprove of the ability to contact all who might read, and if they do not; they know where the delete button is just as I do.
