I was taking a dump in school.
I was driving to work in D.C. wondering why in the hell trafic was so backed up
cutting class!
I was a freshman in high school in English class, I believe. We were then told to go to the gym and wait until our buses arrived to take us home. It didn't really get real for me until I turned on the TV to see both towers engulfed in smoke.
Aaliyah died in 2001? I thought it was in 2002. Man. It's been a while that I've forgotten.
I was in 5th grade. We pulled out a TV and watched the news as a class in the library.
English class.
the emotions that day were intense. i spent the whole day looking at the plume of smoke while trying to get out of the city via ferry. it never truly sunk in for me - even when the air force jets were zooming by at low altitude above all of us. it didn't really sink in until i got home.
afterwards, my ex girfriend and i got together for some post-traumatic existential wolverine sex
I was just getting to work and coworkers were talking about the first plane that went into the WTC.
Congratulations on your website, I find it delicious and full of emotions
