Eminem actually has been a pretty decent representative of Detroit. He's stuck around town, which is better than most celebrities from the D. He goes to games, he shows up for events, and he listens to the same radio station I do. Whether he drives a Chrysler or not, he has been a supporter of Detroit industry.
I could write a 10 page term paper here and I doubt you'd give a poo. He's a hell of a lyricist and rapper. That's truth for ya.
